Staunen is a multi-purpose event space in Berlin, Germany. The brief was to create a brand identity that related to the space’s architect and their work. My vision for this brand was to highlight the strength and passion found in Berlin’s rich history, while highlighting the expressive and diverse community that flourishes there today.

Using the main concept for the identity, I created a type lockup that mimicked the logo. The shapes created from the letters became the main graphic elements that make up the brand’s visual language. Moreover, the color palette is inspired by reoccurring colors found in several murals on the Berlin Wall.
