About Me

Based in San Francisco, CA

My Journey in Design

I was exposed to design during my junior year when I joined the Creative Arts for Social Transformation pathway at my high school in San Francisco. There, I learned about storytelling, animation, and the basics of Adobe Creative Suite. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked on design.

During my time at CCSF and UC Berkeley, in conjunction to getting my degrees in English Lit and Media Studies, I often volunteered my skills in visual design to create newsletters and flyers for college groups I was a part of. Since graduating, I started doing graphic design professionally and up-skilled into product design recently.

My interest in design has led me to consistently align myself with varying creative techniques. As much as I love creating digitally, I also love taking things offline and making things by hand.

One of my favorite projects from high school

One of my first design-related projects from high school

I'm a paper and pen type of girl. It feels so satisfying seeing my brain dump this way. Using Procreate on my iPad is a close second to this.

Design Philosophy

With my skills in design, I’d like to create direct experiences that empower people to pursue their goals and to create connection and community. I’m inspired by the aha! moments when an idea clicks or brings delight, and I hope to create things that spark a similar sense of satisfaction or accomplishment ✨

My current side quests include–

🏺 Finishing up a 6-week hand building pottery class
🤖 Learning to utilize AI in my creative work flow
🥘 Learning how to cook well at home
